Devastating Floods in Punjab: Begampura Aid International Steps in to Help Victims

In August and September 2025, Punjab faced one of the most devastating floods in recent history. Continuous torrential rains and riverine floods submerged more than a thousand villages in several districts, causing widespread destruction. Thousands of houses were damaged, essential infrastructure was disrupted, and over three lakh people were displaced from their native places. The floods also caused massive loss of land and property, while human and animal lives are still at risk. Relief and rehabilitation measures are ongoing, but the situation remains very critical as Punjab struggles to recover from this natural disaster.

Begampura Aid International provided services to the flood-affected people in Punjab.
